A Michigan firefighter isn’t letting her gender -and lack of facial hair- from participating in her department’s “no-shave November” charity event.

Stephanie Ittner of the Frankenmuth Fire Department wanted to join in on the tradition but was hampered by her feminine face and lack of facial hair.

Getting creative, Ittner decided to draw on a different mustache every day, in hopes to raise money for non-profit organizations that help support cancer prevention, research, and education.

According to WNEM, the firefighter wears her drawn on scruff in public, even when she isn’t on duty.
