Firefighters are making progress on a wildfire that has blackened nearly 5,000 acres in Lincoln County. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says three unoccupied hunting cabins were destroyed in the Wall Lake Fire, which is burning in sage and scrub grasses near Harrington, Wash. Three homes have been evacuated as a precaution.

About 60 firefighters and two helicopters are being used to fight the blaze, which by Friday evening was 50 percent contained.
