Texas firefighters and police officers injured after SUV loses control on wet highway

Dashcam footage out of Texas shows an SUV lose control on a wet highway, crashing into first responders who were working a wreck scene on Saturday.

The incident took place near the town of Hutchins, after an SUV struck two police officers and two firefighters.

Of all the four victimes, only one firefighter sustained major injuries, suffering broken ribs, a fractured vertebrae and a lacerated kidney.

The driver of the vehicle was found to be uninjured and not driving under the influence.

According to KHQ, the incident remains under investigation.
