New Jersey boardwalk & restaurant destroyed in five-alarm fire

SHARE

A portion of the Ocean Grove boardwalk and a restaurant have now been destroyed after a massive fire broke out Saturday afternoon.

According to NJ.com, crews are still cleaning up after the five-alarm fire.

So far no cause has been determined.

Thankfully the restaurant is only open during the summer season, so it was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

It had actually been closed for the last three years after it needed to be rebuilt due to Superstorm Sandy.
