A firefighter with Nashville’s Fire Rescue service was bewildered as he surveyed the damage caused by the tornado that hit earlier this week, causing massive devastation.
However, it wasn’t the damage that caught his eye.
In a Global News clip sampled by “@ChadBlue_” and posted to Twitter, the firefighter could be seen looking at the damage when, out of the darkness, came a female jogger, casually running down the debris-littered streets.
The firefighter’s expression was priceless and caught on camera at just the right time.
One user tried to explain the woman’s bizarre behaviour.
“You know what they say about exercise routines,” the user tweeted. “Gotta make it a habit or you’ll give up.”
While Nashville suffered some damage, a city to the east by the name of Cookeville, Tennessee, suffered the brunt of the tornado, including the majority of the casualties.
Around 24 people are reported dead and many more are still missing.
