Minnesota EMT class demonstrates new use for “Baby Shark” song

SHARE

A Minnesota EMT class discovered that the meme-tastic (and equally annoying) song “Baby Shark” can be used to perform CPR.

The Leech Lake EMS & Education Facebook team posted a demonstration with the song, revealing that the rhythm of “Baby Shark” “comes out to exactly 110 beats per minute,” the ideal compression rhythm for CPR.

The video has been seen over 10 million times since last month, and has been shared over 114,000 times.
