Alabama firefighters had to change their plan of attack when a medical call turned into a two-alarm fire over the weekend.
According to the Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department, firefighters were nearly at the home when they were notified that the medical call had been upgraded to a working house fire.
Helmet cam shared by the fire department shows heavy smoke billowing out of the home.
Firefighters quickly went inside to knock down the fire.
In all, it took four vehicles, nine firefighters, and 4,000 gallons of water to save the home.
