Firefighters in Utah were dispatched to a house fire in West Valley City- one caused by the homeowner’s ex-husband.

West Valley City Police Lieutenant Bill Merritt reported that the fire took place just after 5 a.m. on Saturday when a woman -who was out of town at the time of the incident- reported that her ex-husband sent her a cell phone video of himself setting things on fire.

When first responders arrived at the scene, a smoldering fire was found in the bedroom and extinguished. No major damage was recorded.

According to KSL, police found 37-year-old Sengathith Rattana hiding in a trailer on the property.

Taken into custody, Rattana was brought in on charges of aggravated arson, burglary, and criminal mischief.
