Lawsuit claims FDNY firefighters demanded probie sleep with stripper

A former FDNY probation officer is suing his former department members after claiming they called him hurtful slurs, hazed him and demanded he “have sex with a stripper” to prove his manhood.

According to ex-probie Michael Troina, Ladder Co. 1/Engine Co. 7 members in Tribeca stomped on his bunker gear, called him gay, smeared peanut butter on his car and superimposed his face on a picture of a crying baby.

According to the suit, when he refused to have sex with strippers, he was called “faggot” and “loser.”

Other hazing included: Being forced to “eat orange juice” with a fork from 12 different plates and then wash the plates, being told he couldn’t do the job because he was Hispanic and being excluded from playing volleyball with the other firefighters.

Troina was fired a week before probation ended, due to a “failed evaluation.”

According to the New York Post, Troina’s suit seeks unspecified damages- but names the city, the FDNY, nine firefighters, three lieutenants, two chiefs and Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro as defendants.
