A South Carolina home that was once the site of a murder investigation scene caught fire in what authorities are suspecting to be a case of arson.
On Tuesday morning, firefighters in the city of Una were called to the vacant home, which had apparently been set alight less than a month after the bodies of two women were discovered there.
According to The State, the two women were found in shallow graves and were later identified as 27-year-old Christin Rene Bunner of Spartanburg and 40-year-old Melissa Rhyme of Mountville.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division will help in the arson investigation, which is under the direction of the Spartanburg Sheriff’s Office.
Since the discovery of the bodies, authorities have charged Christian Hurlburt and Jonathan Galligan with the killings.
