A Georgia firefighter has been fired after a Facebook video surfaced showing him pulling and pointing a gun at another man during a confrontation.

According to WRBL, former Troup County Firefighter Justin Caswell broke into the rental property he owned and began throwing the tenants’ personal items out onto the yard.

Apparently, Caswell had been trying to remove the renters, but they had refused to leave.

During the September 14th incident, the male renter asked Caswell to leave and then pulled out a knife and threatened him with it. That’s when Caswell went to his truck, got a 9mm handgun, came back, and pointed it at the man’s head.

Caswell had been told by city officials that he could not enter the home without law enforcement present, which there was none during the incident.

Caswell says he was acting in self-defense according to the police report.

He was eventually arrested and then fired from the department.
