Five of New York’s Bravest were injured during a serious warehouse fire that took place in Brooklyn on Thursday.

The fire came to life at around 12:30 AM at a two-story restaurant supply building and matured into a four-alarm fire in short order.

According to the New York Post, no civilians were hurt, but five FDNY members were provided various degrees of medical care for non-life-threatening injuries.

Fire crews were spotted still tackling the fire eight hours after the call had been made, and it is unknown what caused the initial spark.
