Firefighters used a crane to get to the fifth floor of an apartment building to rescue a dog trapped in its apartment.

According to the NY Post, the fire happened in midtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters had to get inside the fifth-floor apartment from the outside by using their bucket.

Once inside, they were able to pull the pup, named Scotch, to safety.

At least 78 firefighters were called on scene to put out the fire.

No word if there were any injuries, or what started the fire.
