Firefighters pelt each other with dodgeballs while in full gear

Two New York Fire Departments decided to have fun with their training but letting the firefighters compete in a game of dodgeball, but in full gear.

Scottsville and Caledonia Fire, both near Rochester, wore full PPE and played until their SCBA bottles were completely empty.

There was one new rule: If you’re out you can come back in after stepping to the side and completing 20 jumping jacks.

Both chiefs said the game was an important learning lesson.

Both said firefighters had to regulate their breathing, just like if they were put into a high-stress scenario while battling a fire.

No word on who won the actual game.
