Fire Dept. under scrutiny for raffling off sex toy at gala, shown in social media photos

The Denver Fire Department is feeling the pressure after photos from the annual Fire Department Gala showed a sex toy being raffled off and passed around.

All three members involved in the incident have been counseled by DFD officials in regards to department conduct, and Fire Chief Eric Tade has publicly denounced the incident as “completely inappropriate.”

“I think it’s in stark contrast to our values,” Tade told CBS4. “It’s not appropriate, not what we promote and not how we want employees to treat one another.”

The sex toy was featured in numerous social media photos throughout the night.
