A Colorado hiker fell and couldn’t get up after she slipped on some rocks and injured his leg.

In order to find the woman along Clear Creek Canyon, West Metro Fire deployed a drone to find the woman and then used a two rope system to pull her to safety.

According to the Denver Post, the hiker fell in a very steep, hard-to-access area.

The drone not only helped rescue crews locate the woman, but also assess the cliff and how they could get to the hiker who was 200 yards down.

No word on the extent of the injuries the hiker suffered or her condition.
