Six crew members and an NOAA observer had to be rescued from the Pacific waters after their 46-foot fishing boat went off in flames on Tuesday.
The Coast Guard launched an HC-130 Hercules airplane and MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew to get the seven people to dry land safely.
According to West Hawaii Today, all seven people on the boat were rescued without our harm. The boat, named Miss Emma, did not survive as flames engulfed and sunk the commercial vessel.
The Coast Guard has not determined what caused the fire.
