Chicago Fire Lt. charged after punching firefighter during roll call

A Chicago Fire Lieutenant is facing the heat after punching one of his fellow firefighters in the face.

Lt. Leonard Johnson was charged with misdemeanor battery after an on-duty altercation with a firefighter at the Chicago Fire Department’s Beverly firehouse  on Wednesday.

Local sources claim the Lieutenant punched a subordinate in the face twice during the morning roll call, busting the victim’s lip and cutting up Johnson’s knuckle.

According to WGN9, the injured firefighter was taken to the hospital and is in good condition.
