A video posted by Joe Minoso (@joeminoso) on

Chicago Fire TV actor Joe Minoso called the very men he portrays on-screen after getting stuck in an elevator.

Although slightly embarrassed, Minoso said the firefighters arrived fifteen minutes after being called and got him out of the elevator without incident.

“That’s why you call the Chicago Fire Department,” the actor said in an Instagram video on Wednesday.

When the firefighters saw Minoso, one firefighter said “Holy (expletive), no way” upon realizing the actor who -in a roundabout way- represents the department on the titular TV show.
