Atlanta firefighter seriously injured by passing car as he was heading to a call

Atlanta Fire-Rescue has now identified the firefighter who was seriously injured in a car crash as he was responding to a call.

According to WJCL, Sgt. Darrow Harden was struck by a passing car as he got out of his vehicle and was walking to inspect an overturned vehicle.

The impact severed Sgt. Harden’s left leg and his right leg is also severely injured.

Despite the injuries, he is listed in stable condition.

Atlanta Police are now searching for the driver who hit Sgt. Harden.
