Ambulance crashes into New Jersey house, 1 injured

An ambulance went off the road in Somerset County early Friday and hit a tree before crashing into a home.

The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Hamilton Street between Chester Street and Pershing Avenue in Franklin Township, according abc7ny.com. One person was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

Video from the scene show the heavily damaged ambulance against the home.

It was not immediately clear whether the ambulance had been responding to a call or whether there was a patient on board.
