An Illinois man who started a fire in his trailer reportedly threatened first responders after they arrived to render assistance, according to sources in the town of Decatur.
24-year-old Andrew Wilson reportedly told a firefighter that he would “bash” a glass jar over his head if he didn’t leave the property on Saturday night.
Upon further inspection of the scene, firefighters found evidence that Wilson had started the blaze, attempting to make it look like an electrical fire.
According to WAND, Wilson is charged with aggravated arson and aggravated assault to a fireman. His bond is set at $75,000 in Macon County.
