For the fifth time in three days, a driver has struck children at a bus stop.

The most recent incident occurred in Florida on Thursday, after a vehicle struck a Tampa school bus stop.

According to PIX11, the driver was taken into custody and five individuals were rushed to the hospital. The driver was reportedly moving at a high rate of speed when he lost control and hit several pedestrians.

Two adults and three juveniles were rushed to local hospitals and are being treated for serious injuries, with one juvenile in critical condition. The children are aged 6 to 12.

The fire truck responding to the scene crashed on it’s way, and two first responders were sent to the hospital.

Fortunately, the bus driver at the scene called 911 in a timely fashion.

The other crashes took place in Mississippi, Indiana, Pennsylvania and another city in Florida.
