FBI raid at fire station leaves police to guard building

Milwaukee Police are staking out in front of a local Wisconsin fire station after FBI agents raided the building last Friday.

An FBI Spokesman declined to comment on the warranted raid -which took place at Milwaukee Fire Station 29- and only noted that there was an ongoing investigation.

MFD officials confirm a federal raid at the station, though would not give further details.

WISN 12 confirmed the identity of the firefighter targeted by the raid through police sources, though they would not release his name. The firefighter’s former spouse described him as a physically abusive man who has a pornography addiction.

The firefighter was one of several who were involved in a previous scandal involving vandalism and pornography usage on the job.

No arrests have been made at this time and an internal investigation has been launched.
