Equipment, personal belongings stolen from fire trucks during Oregon wildfires

Two Oregon fire trucks were ransacked while firefighters were fast asleep on Saturday morning.

Coburg Fire Chief Chad Minter said that firefighters assigned to the relief of wildfires in the area awoke to find two trucks were missing equipment, including an oxygen tank, a firefighter’s bag, a flat-headed axe and a firefighter jacket.

According to Oregon Live, some of the gear was found dumped nearby and police reports have been filed.
