Driver Airlifted To Hospital After Crashing Into Lake Delton Fire Station
United States (Wisconsin) -
Delton Fire Department officials didn't have to go far to investigate after an SUV slammed into a building. That's because the driver crashed into the fire station. The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The female driver was airlifted to a hospital. Her condition was not known.
Fire Chief Andy L. Schultz said the vehicle crashed into the station's bay doors. He told WMTV-TV there was heavy structural damage to the building, which houses the fire department that serves the village and the town of Delton.
