Indianapolis Firefighters Battle Two-Alarm House Fire
United States (Indiana) -
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department it took 80 firefighters to put out the fire that started around 2:15 a.m. in an empty house at 115 E. 9th Street. The fire spread to an occupied home next door causing heavy damage. Heavy smoke also forced people living in the Cathcart Apartments on 9th Street to evacuate.
The apartment building has smoke and water damage.
The fire took approximately 90 minutes to get under control with no injuries reported.
