Bevery Hills Firefighters Battle Structure Fire

On November 2nd, Beverly Hills Second Alarm 250 South Beverly Drive City of Beverly Hills. It took Beverly Hills Firefighters close to an hour to control an intense blaze that ran through a second floor office of a two story commercial building on the 200 block of South Beverly Drive in the City of Beverly Hills. Firefighters first on scene had smoke on both floors with heavy fire showing from the second floor in the rear. The businesses damaged included a Subway Sandwich shop and a fancy Ice Cream store “Cold Stone” creamery with several offices above. Firefighters knocked down the blaze with several handlines, reporting three handlines inside attacking the fire. The main flames were knocked down in 30 minutes.
The Second Alarm assignment included units from the Los Angeles (City) Fire Department and the L.A. County Fire Department respectively. A man was questioned on scene. There were no reported injuries, damage was extensive, and the cause of the late night blaze is under investigation.
