Brothers Killed In Home Fire
Three brothers died when a fire raged through their home yesterday. A fourth brother escaped shortly after the blaze started in the early hours of the morning. All were aged in their mid to late-60s.

The fire is thought to have started in the kitchen and destroyed the ground and first floor of the home in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester.

Four fire engines and 18 firefighters were called to the house just after 3 am.

A fire service spokesman said: "The house was engulfed by flames and it quickly became apparent people were trapped inside.

"Firefighters using breathing apparatus found one man with serious burns on the ground floor.

"He was taken to hospital in a critical condition but died later- . Two of the brothers were found dead, one in a front bedroom and one in a rear bedroom.

"This was a very tragic incident.
