Fireman Injured After Detroit Home Firebombed
A Detroit firefighter suffered a neck injury while putting out a blaze in a firebombed home, police said. The unidentified firefighter injured his neck and shoulder falling down stairs in a home that was struck by a Molotov cocktail thrown onto its porch Tuesday night, WXYZ-TV, Detroit, reported. It added the fire was thought to be put out after damaging a front door, but restarted, bringing the firefighters.
The injured firefighter was hospitalized, and several people in the home were able to get out safely, WXYZ-TV said.
The fire is under investigation.
