Christmas Morning Fire Destroys Campbell Business
Christmas Morning Fire Destroys Campbell Business

On Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at 4:58 AM, units of the Santa Clara County Fire Department responded to a report of smoke showing from a commercial structure located at 1624 Dell Avenue in a light industrial area of Campbell, California. Arriving firefighters confirmed a working fire with heavy smoke and flames showing from the rear half of a single story concrete tilt up structure. Due to the intensity of the blaze a second and third alarms were struck bringing additional resources to the scene. Defensive operations were initiated including the use of two aerial master streams to prevent flames from spreading throughout the entire building. There were no injuries reported and firefighters were able to contain the fire to the building of origin.
