South L.A. Motorcycle Shop Blaze
Los Angeles Firefighters were assisted by L.A. County Firefighters on a wind-swepped blaze that tore through the the rear and adjacent structure at 1512 West Manchester Boulevard in South L.A. Firefighters first on scene reported heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear of Freddies Motorcycle Shop. A bodyshop type structure next door was also well involved with fire. Firefighters went to work protecting exposures on three sides, another commercial to the east and apartment buildings to the west and south. The late night blaze was knocked down in approximately 45 minutes.
