Smoke could be seen pouring out from the roof as crews climbed on ladders to reach the fire with hoses. There was a "heavy amount of smoke," when firefighters arrived to the scene, Ehrhart said. Lancaster County HazMat was dispatched to the scene as a precaution because it was a manufacturing facility, he said.
The company produces machine equipment, such as dies and cutting tools. It took about two hours for crews to extinguish the flames, he said, but there were no injuries.
Ehrhart said a cause is still undetermined.
