Blaze At Berkshire College Of Agriculture

Firefighters were called at 1230 hours yesterday to a fire involving a large pile of felled trees at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. Three pumps from Berkshire were joined by a pump from Henley in Oxfordshire and a water carrier from Camberley in Surrey. Two pumps and the water carrier were used to shuttle water to the other two pumps at the scene. The fire was still burning well into the evening.
